It’s about the lace!

New York Bridal Fashion Week 2015 came and left our jaws dropping!

Still looking for that perfect wedding dress to leave your guests, and groom, speechless? New York Bridal Fashion Week sure didn’t disappoint with this year’s trends, we will help you choose the perfect look.

New York Bridal Fashion Week was back in action and it proved that lace is not only in for fall and winter, but it is a staple that is here to stay. We loved seeing all of the dressers out on the runway, but Inbal Dror and Olvi’s stuck out to be the ‘go to’ designers for that blissful lace look.

As we saw last year, sexy was back! This year, that bridal “sexiness” still remains, but with a new feature: sheer, sultry, yet romantic, lace.

Olvi’s

Our hearts continued to burst as Olvi’s hit the runway.
As we saw before, sophisticated sheer lace was the ‘it’ factor of the season. Olvi’s fall and winter line had delicate floral details, sultry sheer side cutouts, and dreamy button up backs. Olvi’s was structured in a more sophisticated way, but a bride that wants to embrace her inner ‘Grace Kelly’ should surely put Olvi’s on her radar.

We cannot get enough of the floral lace that Olvi’s has interpreted into it’s designs.
Whether it was A-line, fit and flare, mermaid or a flower girl (how cute is that?) style, we hope to see this designer really hit the market with a bang!

Can you say classy with a twist?
This entire collection was breath-taking and beautiful but our favorite piece has to be the lace long sleeve, with a button up back. What a brilliant way to really wow not only your guests, but your groom with this amazing gown. This truly is a piece that will leave a bride feeling elegant and beautiful on her big day.

Coan Couture ~ How Our Brand Was Born

Bridal Image’s Coan Couture brand was created to give customers something special. At home in the heart of fashionable Hayes Valley, Coan Couture consists of a selection of unique, buyer selected gowns from various manufacturers as well as some original designs. Keeping in mind flattering and popular silhouettes, designer details, and quality fabrics, Coan Couture offers it’s brides designer wedding gown quality at a more reasonable price point. An interview with the head designer of Coan Couture answers some common questions about the brand:

Why did Bridal Image create their own store brand?

We noticed our customers lacked variety in their gown selection. Brides often complained that it was difficult to find a unique wedding gown when every bridal shop they walk into provides the exact same styles to choose from. In creating our own brand we were able to seek out new manufacturers that offer different styles than the well known brands we already carry.

Are these gowns knockoffs?

No. We do not sell knockoffs. The gowns that make up our store brand are sourced directly from manufacturers or created from original designs. The gowns we source are bought from the manufacturer and become a part of our own brand.

How are these styles unique to this area?

The gowns we search for are unique to this area because we work with manufacturers who understand our desire to keep the market less saturated. If they sell a particular style to us they will not sell to anyone else in our area. We also work with in-house designers to create original designs in silhouettes and fabrics we know will interest our customers. This keeps our brand exclusive to this area and more unique.
